About

Why this archive exists, and what we stand for.

The Archive

orgasmsoundlibrary.com was a website that hosted a curated collection of authentic human sexual sounds — created and contributed by real people. The site no longer exists, but thanks to the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine, these recordings survived.

We recovered 3,352 unique audio files, processed them through a data pipeline, and built this archive to ensure they remain permanently accessible to anyone who wants them — for any purpose, without restriction.

Sex-positive and research-friendly

Human sexuality is part of human experience. These sounds capture authentic moments of pleasure — they are not pornographic content in a legal sense, and their preservation serves legitimate educational, research, and artistic purposes.

We believe this archive serves: music producers seeking authentic human sounds, researchers studying acoustic properties of human vocalizations, educators teaching human sexuality, and anyone who simply enjoys listening.

Public domain commitment

Every recording in this archive is dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0 Universal . This means: no copyright, no attribution required, no conditions. You can copy, modify, distribute, and use these recordings for any purpose, including commercial purposes, without asking permission.

What we don't know

We do not have information about the original contributors, their consent, or the circumstances under which these recordings were made. The original site appears to have operated with contributor consent for public sharing — the recordings were publicly accessible. We are preserving what was already public.

Have a recording to share?

We're building a submission pipeline for new contributions to the archive. All submissions will be verified, cataloged, and released as CC0.
